The MIDI fuse replaced the standard strip link fuse as a modern surge protection component, a popular range for light commercial trucks and small electric vehicles, with 30mm hole centres, make upgrading and reconditioning of an electrical panel or distribution board easier. Although not waterproof the Midi fuses are used in some marine applications due to their space saving and enclosed characteristics.
